“Alone . . . he faced the deadly crossfire of a killer mob . . . and a fear-crazed town!”

After a bank robbery goes wrong, fugitive Joe Maybe is mistaken for a famed U.S. Marshal and forced to play the role of a respected lawman in a tight-knit town. The charade grows dangerously complex when his former flame unexpectedly surfaces, forcing them to pose as a happily married couple while navigating a growing bond with a local orphan boy.
